Service Use
CAMI provides wellbeing support through structured conversations.
It does not provide medical advice, psychological therapy, professional counselling or diagnosis.CAMI is available 24/7. However, in emergencies or high-risk situations, you must contact emergency services or appropriate helplines immediately.
User Responsibilities
You must use CAMI responsibly and not misuse the service.
Ensure the confidentiality of your login details and inform us immediately of any unauthorized use.
The service is intended for your personal use only and should not be shared with unauthorized individuals.
Privacy and Data
All personal data is stored securely on servers located in the UK, protected by industry-standard security measures.
Your data will be anonymized and used to improve our services but will not be shared or sold to third parties.
You have the right to request access, amendment, or deletion of your data in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Confidentiality
Conversations with Cami are confidential unless Cami has a concern about your safety. Your safety is our priority.
If Cami detects something that suggests you might be at risk of harm, it will share this concern with the designated safeguarding lead at your school.
Only the relevant concern will be shared, not the full content of the conversation, and you will be informed when this happens.
Safeguarding and Risk Alerts
The app includes a risk assessment feature categorizing user interactions into risk levels (low, medium, high)
Medium and high-risk interactions generate alerts for designated safeguarding personnel to ensure appropriate follow-up actions.
Outside designated office hours, CAMI directs users to external support services.
Liability
The app providers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use CAMI.
The providers' total liability in connection with this service is limited to the fees paid by the user's associated organization over the previous 6 months.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights associated with CAMI belong exclusively to Cambridge Mind Technologies Ltd.
Users are granted a non-transferable license to access and use the service solely for personal wellbeing purposes.
Termination
Access to the app can be terminated if you breach these terms or misuse the service.
Upon termination, your data can be deleted upon your request in line with data protection regulations.
Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the app after changes signifies acceptance of the new terms.
